The Baer Law Firm recovered $690,000 from a rehabilitation facility and its supervising physician on behalf of a paralyzed man who suffered a Stage IV pressure ulcer during his stay. On February 13, 2022, at approximately 10:00pm, a young couple was headed home on I-75 South when their car broke down and stopped on the interstate. The driver put on her hazards and called 911 for emergency assistance. Before help could arrive, the car was struck by an 18-wheeler travelling interstate speeds. On April 29, 2021, four friends went to a Braves game. Before the game, they stopped for a pregame meal at Goldbergs Bagels in The Battery. Unprovoked and out of nowhere a Goldberg’s waiter screamed and began choking one of the four friends. The waiter continued to keep this man in a chokehold for approximately 15 seconds before his friends and an off-duty police officer could separate the assailant from the victim. On August 19, 2019, Ce’Marlo Fletcher returned from work to find that his newly purchased PlayStation 4 had been stolen. It was stolen because his property owner never fixed the door to the room he rented in a four-bedroom house. An apple barn in the north Georgia county of Gilmer negligently installed the gutter system to one of its back buildings. Accordingly, the gutters collapsed just as Steven Knight, a contractor hired to perform maintenance on exhaust equipment, stepped from the roof onto his ladder. Steven fell to the ground, shattering his shoulder and suffering numerous other personal injuries. He is quite fortunate he did not land on his head and suffer a massive head or spinal cord injury.
