Two Arrests Made In The High-Speed Crash That Killed Our Client’s Son
Douglasville teen Garrett Tyler Betts was arrested and charged in the August 26th high-speed car crash that killed our client’s 15-year-old son. According to arrest records, 18-year-old Betts was driving at an excessive speed when he lost control of his Ford Mustang and hit a tree.
Authorities believe another driver may also be involved. Caleb Evan Hasty was arrested on the grounds that he and Betts were street racing at the time Betts lost control of his vehicle.
The Baer Law Firm continues to investigate on behalf of our clients.
If you have any information that could help with the investigation, please contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
