The Baer Law Firm Hired to Investigate Tractor-Trailer Fatality

On February 13, 2022, at approximately 10:00pm, a young couple was headed home on I-75 South when their car broke down and stopped on the interstate. The driver put on her hazards and called 911 for emergency assistance. Before help could arrive, the car was struck by an 18-wheeler travelling interstate speeds. An eyewitness reported that he did not observe the tractor-trailer brake or swerve before the collision.

Yesterday, Bryan Baer at The Baer Law Firm went to Winter Garden, Florida with a team of forensic experts to inspect the tractor-trailer pictured below.

At this point, we suspect that driver fatigue played a role in his failure to see our client’s vehicle.
