The Baer Law Firm Recently Retained in Two Wrongful Death Cases

Motorcycle Wreck in Covington, Newton County, Georgia

Ronald Fernaays, a resident from  Covington, Newton County, Georgia was riding his motorcycle on a beautiful spring evening when a woman who wasn’t paying attention made a left turn in front of him.  His motorcycle struck her car.  Unfortunately, Mr. Fernaays succumbed to his injuries shortly after the wreck.  The woman who struck him did not have a valid drivers’ license.  She has been arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter.

The family of Mr. Fernaays has hired Bryan Baer and The Baer Law Firm to further investigate this tragedy.

Bicycle Wreck in Mableton, Cobb County Georgia

Jeremiah Johnson, father of three (3), was killed while riding his bicycle along Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton, Cobb County, Georgia when a woman failed to see him and struck the back tire of his bicycle.  The collision occurred near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway and Floyd Road on April 11, 2026 around 8:30 P.M.  Mr. suffered fatal injuries as a result.  The incident remains under investigation with the Cobb County Police Department. Mr. Johnson’s family recently hired The Baer Law Firm to pursue civil remedies for this tragedy.  The Baer Law Firm recently obtained surveillance footage from a nearby apartment complex demonstrating that Mr. Johnson was wearing a head lamp, and that the bicycle itself had a front light and reflectors just minutes before the incident.  If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact us at 404-843-2237.
