$650,000 Settlement for Man Hit While Walking Across Convenience Store Parking Lot

The Baer Law Firm recovered $650,000 on behalf of an 86-year-old man who suffered a broken hip after being hit in the parking lot of a convenience store.  While Bryan Baer’s client was walking from the gas pump to the store, the driver of the Ford F-150 truck backed out of a parking space without looking behind him or paying attention to his backup camera alarms.  Fortunately, the truck’s turn radius prevented the driver from running over and possibly killing our client.  After months at a rehabilitation facility, the once spry and charismatic gentleman is now home under the care of his devoted son with hopes to one day return to his active lifestyle of playing golf, dining with friends, and attending church.
